Client Money and Assets (CASS) Workshop
Overview
The protection of Client Money and Assets (CASS) is of the utmost importance to the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), reflecting the regulator’s statutory objective of consumer protection.
The basic obligation set out in PRIN 10 - 'A firm must arrange adequate protection for Clients' Assets when it is responsible for them', is supplemented by detailed rules in the FCA’s Client Money and Assets (CASS) sourcebook.
This Client Money and Assets (CASS) Workshop is designed to provide a comprehensive overview of the FCA’s CASS rules, with a focus on their practical application. It is intended to develop participants’ understanding of this vital element of the FCA’s regulatory framework, as well as acting as a refresher for specialist staff.
Who is this for?
This workshop is relevant for all staff who are involved in, or responsible for, their firm’s arrangements for holding client money and assets.
