Diversity & Inclusion in Financial Services eLearning
Overview
Diversity and inclusion (D&I) are crucial to the success of the financial services industry.
The FCA and the PRA have both highlighted that greater levels of D&I within a corporate environment can contribute towards a better workplace culture, greater psychological safety, an improved talent pool, greater innovation and challenge, freedom to express one’s views and a more balanced attitude to risk management.
The regulators see this as having a significant idiosyncratic effect within individual firms, but also causing a systemic effect of protecting consumers, enhancing competition and enhancing market integrity.
This eLearning module is aimed at all staff within an organisation and puts diversity and inclusion into context. It aims to define diversity and inclusion, explain what a positive workplace culture looks like, outline the legal and regulatory requirements, and explain what employees can do to maintain and improve their firms’ D&I culture.
The module includes examples and interactive case studies to help learners understand the impact of diversity and inclusion.
This module and the end assessment can be tailored to incorporate client-specific content.
