Introduction to Securities & Investment - CISI
Overview
Are you studying for the CISI Introduction to Securities and Investment (ISI)? And do you want to increase your chances of success? Our courses give you the tools and assistance you need.
The Introduction to Securities & Investment qualification covers key financial principles and products in depth including assets and markets, equities, bonds, derivatives, investment funds and other assets and markets. It explores the broader economic environment in which the financial services sector operates and looks at how economic activity is determined and managed in different economic and political systems.
The qualification also offers an introduction to financial services regulation and ensures candidates are provided with an understanding of ethical behaviour and acting with integrity, and an overview of the financial advice process.
The qualification is a comprehensive introduction to the financial services sector, with a specific focus on investments. It is the foundation exam for many higher level CISI qualifications.
Please note individual sessions are not available. Our CISI courses are designed specifically for firms with more than 5 staff that require training for a CISI qualification. Sessions are delivered live (virtually or in-person) where we walk your group through the key learning points in the chosen CISI qualification and prepare participants for the exam through plenty of practice questions and mock exams.
Who is this for?
This qualification is suitable for new entrants to staff who are beginning their career in financial services.
The broad topics covered make the qualification suitable for all staff, not just those responsible for making investment decisions, including administration, finance and accounting, IT, customer services, sales and marketing and HR and training.
