Overview
The FCA’s Conduct of Business (COBS) rules impose detailed obligations on firms that carry out regulated investment business. This course provides an overview of the most important aspects of the rules, specifically client categorisation, communicating with clients (including financial promotions), suitability and appropriateness and best execution. Examples and case studies are used to ensure participants understand the practical application of the rules, as well as the potential implications of failure to meet the regulatory obligations.
