SMF Regulatory Briefing Programme 2025
Overview
The UK regulators take the competence of Senior Managers very seriously. Upon submitting an application for an SMF, the FCA expects to see a skills gap analysis, learning and development plan, and a competency assessment.
However, this focus on training and competence should not end upon approval for the SMF role. It is crucially important that SMFs be able to demonstrate ongoing competence, particularly with respect to latest regulatory developments.
Our SMF Programme has been developed with this in mind. The programme consists of a series of monthly, one-hour seminars on regulatory hot topics, enabling SMFs to:
- Keep up to date with the latest regulatory trends and initiatives
- Demonstrate their commitment to regulatory proficiency
- Access the training at a convenient time, through our on-demand learning platform
- Document CPD activity as required
This course is designed and delivered by experienced, current and former practitioners, making it ideal for SMFs in the financial services industry who need to keep up to date with the latest in compliance and financial crime prevention.
Who is this for?
This course is for those in Senior Management Functions (SMFs) within the financial industry.
